    JACKSONVILLE, FL -The early morning brought a couple of small showers to S.E. Georgia and along the northern edge of Nassau County.  Our better rain chances will come this afternoon.

    Look for highs in the mid 80s but we could see a scattered shower as early as lunch. The bulk of the activity could begin between 2-6 pm today giving a 60% chance of some needed rain. There may be a few strong storms.

    The weekend looks to be dry with highs in the  80s.
