The Unseen Seek Internal Salvation
What started as a hobby for the members of The Unseen has turned into a fourteen year career that's seen the band's brand of intelligent streetwise punk honed to a sharp and deadly point. Their latest album, Internal Salvation is further evidence of their precise cataclysmic punk is a weapon to be feared.

Boys Noize Get Remixed
Boys Noize's album Oi, Oi, Oi was one of last years best electro albums. It's brash, harsh synths mixed with exceptionally danceable beats made for great listening and of course their was that remix of Feist's, "My Moon, My Man," which conquered every dance floor from here to Moscow. Well if all that wasn't enough, Boys Noize, or Anthony Ridha to his associates, gathered up some of his pals and had him remix songs off of Oi, Oi, Oi.

The Apples In Stereo's Electronic Projects for Musicians
The ever brilliant Apples in Stereo have returned once again with a record to delight, entertain, and just generally make you feel pretty good. Electronic Projects for Musicians comes hot on the heels of their 2007 album, New Magnetic Wonder and collects a lifetime of rarities and unheard of tracks on one disc.

Another Rick Rubin Production Flatters Neil Diamond
While producer Rick Rubin coaxed some fine songs out of Neil Diamond on their first collaboration, 2005's "12 Songs," you could feel the fear of a singer told to stand alone with his guitar in front of a recording microphone for the first time in many years.

Everest's Ghost Notes
Climbing Everest is far more difficult than listening to the band of the same name. Their easy going countrified rock and roll is like a breezy spring day and their album Ghost Notes harks back to the 70's with such unabashed appreciation you'll swear you're driving around in an El Camino listening to AM Radio.

Gentleman Auction House Sell Their Book of Matches
Gentleman Auction House isn't actually a business that specializes in auctioning rare antiquities from the four corners of the world. Instead, they're a massive seven piece indie rock band hailing from the most exotic land of St. Louis, Missouri.

The Morning Benders Love The Sun
The Morning Benders are a band in love with harmony. It something that pulsates through everything they do. In fact, it's so important to them it's almost as if they need it to survive. Their debut album Talking Through Tin Cans, then, is like a gigantic glass of water waiting to quench the thirst of any who seeks the same.

Singer's Unhistories Puzzles the Mind
Singer might be from Chicago, but they sound like they're from another world. This is a band that clearly has no idea of what the word normal means and clearly doesn't even care. Their album, Unhistories is a strange trip that takes space, time, the 5th dimension and turns them all sideways.

Heloise and the Savoir Faire's Trash, Rats, and Microphones
There are some records that are so ridiculously serious that after listening to them you feel like you need therapy. Then there are those records that are so over the top fun that they should probably be illegal in the upper 48. Heloise and the Savoir Faire's, Trash, Rats, and Microphones, is one of those records.

Devastations Know It's You, Yes U
Devastations are a pan-continental band that are originally from Melbourne, Australia but now call Europe home, residing in Germany or when they can't avoid it, good ol' London town. This nomadic journey that they have made spanning continents has influenced how Devastations sound on record and their latest album, Yes, U is no different.

Monotonix Want You To Hear Their Body Language
The first thing you think of when you listen to Monotonix's album Body Language is whether or not these guys wear lots and lots of flannel.

Beats Bites and Oxle
Ok, so you've seen the movie Anniversary Party about a zillion times and you've always wanted to throw a dinner party like they did in the movie (without all the drama of course) but you have no idea where to start. Sure you can cook up a meal and serve it to your friends but what about the music?

Secret Love 4 Isn't Really A Secret Anymore
After three Secret Love compilations it's probably fair to say that by this point the love isn't so secret any more. On this the fourth Secret Love compilation that's especially true considering the line up is loaded with big name artists taking a second to keeping things quietly cool.

Dizzee Rascal Teaches America Maths and English
The only reason why most American's know what grime is, has returned. Yes, Dizzee has returned and he's back with his best album yet. Maths and English releases last year in his native UK has finally found it's way to these shores and we should all be thankful that it has because it quite possibly one of the best albums you'll hear all year.

Juno Reactor's Gods and Monsters
Juno Reactor has been around forever in terms of dance music. This is a group that started way, way back in 1993 and practically invented psychedelic trance. Since then they've just about weathered every storm in terms of dance music being cool and trendy.
