Steve Smith is the weather anchor for Good Morning Jacksonville and First Coast News at Noon.

Steve graduated from the University of Alabama with a BA degree in Broadcast and Film Communications. He then completed Meteorology studies from Mississippi State University.

Before coming to First Coast News, Steve held news reporter and weather anchor positions at WKRG-TV in Mobile, Alabama and news anchor/reporter positions at WDBB-TV in Birmingham and WAKA in Montgomery, Alabama.

Steve has done volunteer work with the Florida/Georgia Blood Alliance, the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation of Northeast Florida and other groups. In his spare time he enjoys sports, movies and reading.
